Does Your Child Forget His/Her Homework?

Sometimes highly successful professionals struggle as mentors. It seems strange to imagine that someone can excel and yet still and translate their skills into a format that is easy to understand and duplicate, but sometimes we underestimate the difficulty of a project and “skip” the boring details.

The first step in doing away with do my math homework struggles is determining what the problem is. Many parents assume that the problem is the laziness of their child. Granted, some children are lazy, but the problem with not doing homework is usually more complex.

In the above example, if someone asked that quick-pass student to play something and he couldn’t, even though he ‘passed’ his exam, how does that make the teacher look?

A good teacher will expect a firm time commitment from you and will probably not tolerate too many changes in schedule as you drift from one activity to another. Make up your mind about what you want to do; then DO IT! Your teacher can and should expect you to practice regularly at home and come to class prepared at your appointed time each week.

Take breaks-Just as a vacation reenergizes us adults, a mini-vacation from your children’s studies recharges them to complete their homework. Tell your children, “When you finish your math homework help, you can take a ten minutes break on the computer.” Then, set a timer for ten minutes and follow through when the timer goes off.

What a different story it could have been do my math homework and should have been had you entrusted your child’s welfare to the careful watch of a proper teacher! Instead, the child is turned off of music for life, and you are left with a bitter experience and mymathlab homework answers empty pockets to show for your investment.

Your office email address and internet connection are not personal. Facebook, MySpace, EBay and whatever other internet addiction you may have should not be brought to work with you. Office internet connections are for work – – they are not for you to Twitter, blog or browse during office hours. We attempted to allow employees to use their lunch hours to browse the internet; however, lunch began to occur at ten in the morning and three in the afternoon, in addition to, noon. Furthermore, office email is for office correspondence not for you to keep in touch with your high school friends and plan a reunion. Keep it professional!

Finally, this was not a one-day project so we also broke up all the work based on when he would get it done. We knew that on his “kung-fu” day, he would not really have a chance to get a lot of work done, but on his “early-day”, the day he gets out at 1:30, he would have a chance to do 4 or 5 of his 15-,minute sessions. This is actually similar to short-term goals (the homework to get finished today) and long-term goals (catch up on all the homework).

Before you jump the gun, in some cases, this is not true at all. If you talk with the teacher, or other parents, you may find that a number of students have been in trouble. Your child tells you his or her problems. They don’t have a vested interest in sharing the problems of other kids with you, unless it helps pull them out of trouble.

Support your child learning math facts like the multiplication tables and addition/subtraction facts. If your older child reaches for a calculator to find 3 x 5 or 3 + 5 they need support learning their math facts! Practice is not a bad word!

It will not be long before your class teacher begins to notice the positive change in your performance in Maths classes. It is certain that your virtual tutor will soon dispel all your doubts and problems in doing your maths homework. You will begin to finish your homework faster leaving you enough time for other activities.
